Crocodile attacked a seven year old girl

The seven-year-old girl was swimming with her family in a remote waterhole in the Northern Territory.
Then a three-meter-long saltwater reptile attacked and dragged her under.
Police say there had been no previous sightings of crocodiles in the area, and the community believed the billabong was safe.
Waterholes in Australia contain sweet rainwater and elephant and other animals like to cooling down themselves in them.
These places are good for the predators that wait for their victims.
Saltwater crocodiles are a protected species in Australia.
In 2009 there was a proposal of the government that safari hunters to be allowed to shoot 25 of these fearsome predators every year.
Because Darwin continue to grow, there is more contact between man and beast.
